The Rick and Morty couch gag is a couch gag featuring Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith of Rick and Morty on Adult Swim.

Plot[edit]

As the Simpsons sit on their couch a flying saucer piloted by Rick and Morty crashes into the Simpsons' living room, liquefying all of them. After panicking, Rick takes a sample of the Simpsons and hands it along with a framed photo to Morty. He opens a portal to an alien marketplace where Morty will be able to get the Simpsons cloned to replace the ones they killed.

While Morty is ordering the clones, Rick steals various items from the Simpsons' house, including Marge's jewellery, Homer's beer and Lisa's saxophone. When Ned Flanders arrives on the scene Rick shoots him with a freeze ray.

Morty returns with the egg sacs containing the cloned Simpsons. On turning the house's thermostat to 110 degrees the sacs begin to hatch, revealing mutant Simpsons-Rick hybrids. Rick notes that he shouldn't have cleaned the test tube with his saliva, and he and Morty leave. Flanders shatters, and Bart moans, "No more guest animators, man!".
