Plot[edit]

Homer arrives at the couch and turns on the TV with a futuristic remote, which shows the date of the episode's premiere (September 28, 2014). Homer gets angry and tries to change it, but reverts time to April 19, 1987, the airdate of the The Simpsons shorts, which changes his appearance to that of in the shorts. He then clumsily slaps on the remote, sending him further and further in time, before stopping at the "sun-date" of Septembar 36.4, 10,535, in the episode #164.775.7. Homer, now named Homar, calls his family for a meeting at the kitchen cube. All of the family members are now just horribly grotesque copies of themselves, who can do nothing but repeat their catchphrases. Homar remembers the times he had with his family (specifically episodes #20,254, #37,211,4 and #100,411,2), in all of which the characters' designs change rapidly, but they were still a happy, stable family. Homar takes a look at his current family and D'ohs, knowing that nothing will be the same again.
