It doesn't take long for [[Moe]], [[Ned]] and [[Homer]] to notice the gold in various locations in Springfield, and the rumor begins to spread. Bart is on his way to watch Nelson find out the truth about the gold, but discovers that all residents of Springfield have begun to dig for gold, so he decides to not tell the truth so no one will gey mad at him, and he hopes it will pass soon. Moe and [[Barney]] discover this and they ask him where he found it. Bart tells them that he found it at McCoy's old farm, and everyone in Springfield goes to the farm and starts to dig up Mr. Burns' nuclear waste.
