Bismarck is the capital city of North Dakota. Otto von Bismarck is its namesake.

History

While the Simpsons watch Grade School Challenge together, the question is the capital of North Dakota is named after what German ruler. Patty and Selma correctly answer Bismarck after Homer exclaims, "Hitler!"[1]
