Mao's is an opium den in the Opium District of 19th-century London.

History[edit]

Eliza Simpson and Dr. Bartley visit Mao's after they found out that the Swords of Osiris, which were used by the Mutton Chop Murderer, were bought by C. Ebenezer Burns who frequented Mao's. When they got there, Mao led them through the den to Burns, who told the pair that he had sold them to Homer, who happened to be in the den at the time. As Simpson and Bartley chased Homer through the den, he threw patrons at them. Homer was then caught by Inspector Wiggum, who had taken his son Ralph to Mao's as opium was the only way to get him to sleep.
