The next day, things get worse: almost all of Springfield is excavated. Bart takes the little bit of iron pyrite he has left from his pocket. Moe and [[Barney]] discover this and they ask him where he found it. Bart tells them that he found it at McCoy's old farm, and everyone in Springfield goes to the farm and starts to dig up Mr. Burns' nuclear waste. |

The Great Springfield Gold Rush is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #68.
Plot
Bart's class is visited by Ranger Todd, who does a puppet show about Sutter's Mill as part of the class's study of the California Gold Rush.
