- Episodes trump games in terms of canon, and Tapped Out is clearly non-canon. Plus, Tapped Out has made mistakes with character names. Roger Meyers, Jr. is still referred to as "Roger Myers Jr." in Tapped Out, which every other source disagrees with. The Solar Dragon 13:25, March 10, 2024 (EDT)
- That example wouldn't apply. Roger Meyers, Jr has appeared in multiple episodes and been named multiple times and across many other things outside of the episodes. The waitress is one-off who was wasn't even named within that episode.
- I don't doubt it's a different spelling in the script, but the two cited sources (the script and CC based off of the script) are behind the scenes that can't even be scene by anybody else. Also Tapped-Out characters names and their spellings have been cited and used repeatedly even when they don't match up with other sourcing i.e. Femme Fatale or George H. W. Bush (character) who haven't ever referred to that in the episodes or scripts and you previously deferred to Tapped-Out on Groundskeeper Wilma. Gwenn is spelled Gwen in the script and subtitles in "Maximum Homerdrive", but you went with what we see.

- A lot of Tapped Out characters have their in-game names not match their article names. And we only use Tapped Out names if the characters don't have a proper name within the show and have their articles at conjectural titles, as is the case with Femme Fatale and some other characters. They were literally unnamed in the show. Colette was named in the show, and all sources up until Tapped Out gave her name with only one l. Including subtitles, the script, the Simpsons World book. - But you're wrong, unless you heard or saw something different in the episode proper, no name is ever spoken by anybody or shown within "Flaming Moe's", but copy of the table draft script scanned online (where the words This script is not for publication or reproduction on the front page and includes dialogue which were not the same as the aired episode) where she is named (or the guide book or subtitles which are copying off the script since again she isn't a major character) just like the woman in "You Only Move Twice" where in dialogue Homer names her Miss Jigglesworth in the online script (unlike Flaming Moe's waitress where even in the draft script online her first name is never used in dialogue) until deferred to Tapped-Out for Femme Fatale. If the script was just it it would be one thing, but between a scanned draft script not easily seen with This script is not for publication or reproduction on the front page and Tapped-Out where anybody can see and uploaded the image with the spelling put on this article page, why would you defer to the former and not the latter?
