Springfield Fishing Derby
The Springfield Fishing Derby is an annual fishing tournament held in Springfield. The event was sponsored by Duff Camo.

Abraham Simpson had won the Springfield Fishing Derby for twenty years running, before he retired from the competition. He wanted Homer to take over winning the competition because he passed the Simpson fishing gene down to him. During the competition, Homer struggled to catch a fish and managed to hook himself. Homer then managed to capsize the boat, but flipped it over again. When it flipped, Homer had caught a fish on the boat. Homer's fish weighed the heaviest so he won the competition. Someone then put a Happy Hood on Homer's fish.
When Homer got home and went to prepare the fish, he found that Bart had stuffed it with marbles, which is what led to it winning.
