Couch Gag Information
|
The Simpson family goes to the couch only to find a letter in its place. "By the time you read this I will be gone. It's best this way. -C". The couch is seen driving in a taxi toward the Springfield International Airport, where the family is rushing to through the traffic.
The couch is passed through the scanners where one of its cushions contains a Duff Beer, a Bart Simpson school paper with an F and the skeleton of Snowball I. The Simpsons rush to Gate 10, where they find out that couch has already taken flight, sitting next to Gil, squishing him.
The couch arrives to the French Foreign Legion HQ, where it serves as a couch for the officers in their tent. The family travels through the desert on camels and reach the legion, only to find out it has been captured and whipped.
They go to the rescue, but then Homer wakes up from the dream, patting on the couch only to find himself in another nightmare as he finds another letter, this time from Marge, "You spend too much time on the couch. Goodbye, Marge.", which shocks him even more.
