Synopsis[edit]
- Homer daydreams that he is back in the seventies after hearing the weather forecast on the radio say "highs in the seventies."
Plot[edit]
Homer is singing along to "Chick-A-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It)" in his car. After the song ends, the radio host gives the weather forecast, saying that there will be highs in the seventies. Homer then begins to imagine the town as if it were the 1970s. He sees Barney wearing '70s clothes and sees the Village People starring in Can't Stop the Music. He drives past Sunshine's Macramé Emporium, House of Peace Signs, and Itchy Joe's Polyester Palace, and he sees Lenny, Carl, and some other people doing the Keep On Truckin' walk. One of the people tells Homer to "keep on truckin'", and Homer says that he wishes they had highs in the seventies more often.
