History[edit]
In their comic book store The Graphic Hovel, Homer and Bart had a copy of Adrenaline Comics #1, which featured the first appearance of Radioactive Man.
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- The comic is a reference to Action Comics #1, which featured the first appearance of Superman.
- The comic is also a sight gag on Action Comics #1, as its cover shows Radioactive Man lifting a nuclear reactor cooling tower in the same pose as Superman lifting a car.
