Absolut Krusty Presents: Celebrating Friendship with the Stimsons

Absolut Krusty Presents: Celebrating Friendship with the Stimsons is a party that the Simpsons held to promote Krusty's vodka, Absolut Krusty.

History[edit]

While Krusty was getting ready for a show, his merchandising executives told him about the slow sales of his vodka, and was willing to pay for a party to promote it. During his show, Krusty told his audience to write a letter to him if they could hold a party to promote his vodka. Milhouse and Bart told each other that they would win, but Krusty said that children with troubled parents weren't eligible. Bart won the competition, but Homer thought the visit was because he hired an unauthorized Krusty-lookalike for Lisa's communion, and then his executives told the family about it. Bart argued that because he wrote the letter, he was allowed one friend, who would listen to music on headphones and could only have one slice of cheese pizza.

At the party, lots of Homer's friends arrived, and there was a bar with Absolut Krusty being served. Homer judges it as being better than all their (crummy) parties, while Marge wonders if Bart and Milhouse are having fun. Bart and Milhouse are in the basement, bored, with Sideshow Mel and Mr. Teeny, and Kirk Van Houten, because he said Krusty scared him. When Mr. Burns arrived, most of the guests left, but Homer and Mr. Burns sang karaoke, and the party gained its coolness again. Mr. Burns consults with Smithers on how Homer should be used for something more important at the plant, and the next day at work he is promoted to accounts man.
