"The Wreck of the Relationship" is the second episode of season 26. It aired on October 5, 2014.^[1]^[2]

Summary

"When Bart disrespects Homer's authority, Homer makes a point to try his hand at parenting. This proves fruitless, so Marge signs them up for the Relation Ship, where they'll resolve their conflicts at sea. Meanwhile, Marge is in charge of Homer's fantasy football league, but manages to win despite being the underdog^[3]"

Bart and Milhouse are watching a video on MyTube, until it's time to eat. Homer wants Bart to eat his broccoli, but Bart refuses to. They spend 47 hours sitting on the table. Meanwhile Martin is beating up Nelson. Lisa makes a drink for Homer and Bart: in one drink there is broccoli, while in the there isn't. She mixes it so no one knows if their drink contains broccoli. Bart spills both drinks.

Marge is worried for Homer and Bart, so she decides to take them to The Relation Ship. At night, Homer and Bart are kidnapped and brought to the Relation Ship. They wake up and meet Captain Bowditch. Meanwhile, Marge gets a sms from Lenny saying: "Your team sucks!". Lisa explains to Marge that Lenny is trash talking. Marge is worried and goes to the church, but, there she gets another text, this time from Doctor Hibbert. She has a walk with Selma and Patty and decides to beat Moe, the champion of Fakefootball.com. Meanwhile Bart and Homer get into a fight because Homer doesn't want Bart to like what he hates. Homer gets drunk and when captain Bowditch sees alcohol he gets drunk too. A huge storm rises and with Captain Bowditch drunk, Bart realises that he is the captain on the boat now. He finds the port and another Simpsons adventure has ended.
