"King Leer" will be the 16th episode of season 29. It aired on April 15, 2018.

Synopsis

"Homer and Marge follow Moe after the bar closes early and discover him and his father fighting. The Simpsons, after finding out that Moe has been excommunicated from his family for years, attempt to bring them back together."

Plot

In Springfield Elementary, there's school band sign ups and Marge is forcing Bart to join. Bart tries them but Marge imagines the pranks he could pull and refuses to let him play them, but settles on the violin.

Homer is however afraid that he might break it and he'd have to pay $430 to the school, so he goes on and stops him for putting it into danger, but after Bart keeps teasing him, he smashes it in the ground.

At Moe's Tavern, Moe gets angry after recieving a call from an unrevealed caller, destroying beer glasses that were delivered on a little train.

Production

It features Moe's family backstory.

It's a Shakespearean family drama, set against the backdrop of a fading mattress store empire.
