Cultural references
- The title of the episode is a pun on the Pixar's film Wall-E.
- During the school dance, "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk plays.
- In an hallucination, a train resembling the Choo-Choo Train and the I Choo-Choo Choose You Train gets run over by Otto's school train and pressed.
- At the end of the episode, in another hallucination, Otto's school train meets the Magic School Bus, Ms. Frizzle and the kids from the show. They enter his ear with the Magic School Bus' magic but Otto pulls them out and squishes them.

- The crowd at the parade is reused and altered from "Four Regrettings and a Funeral".
