Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

History[edit]

Flaming Moe's Day was celebrated on the same day as Veterans Day.[1]

Sheldon Skinner, Arnie Gumble, Iggy Wiggum, Etch Westgrin, and Griff McDonald were killed during the 1979 Veterans Day float disaster.[2]

Bart mentioned that veterans deserved a little recognition, and Lisa responded by saying they already had Veterans Day and Memorial Day.[3]

The book Veterans' Day Parades was seen being sold at Rock Bottom Remainders.[4]
