The Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

History

Flaming Moe's Day was celebrated on the same day as Veterans Day.[1]

Sheldon Skinner, Arnie Gumble, Iggy Wiggum, Etch Westgrin and Griff McDonald were killed during the 1979 Veterans Day float disaster.[2]

Bart mentions that veterans deserve a little recognition, and Lisa responds by saying they already have Veterans Day and Memorial Day.[3]

The book Veterans' Day Parades is seen being sold at Rock Bottom Remainders.[4]
