Who Needs the Kwik-E-Mart is a quest in the tutorial of The Simpsons: Tapped Out. The quest unlocks Apu and the Kwik-E-Mart.

Dialogue

We need to build the Kwik-E-Mart next. But Dad, the Kwik-E-Mart doesn't belong on Evergreen Terrace. The layout of Springfield changes a lot. One time, our house was next to a prison so I could make a joke about how we lived next to a prison. Then five minutes later no more prison. Weird, huh? Task: "Build the Kwik-E-Mart". The task takes four hours and the player receives 100 and 10 in reward. Apu is a new character. (If the player does not place the KEM on the shaded box) I think I should place it where the computer tells me. Build: Kwik-E-Mart Four hours to build the Kwik-E-Mart when it only took seconds to build my house?! Stupid contractors! Why don't you use that donut we found to speed things up? The player spends two donuts to complete the Kwik-E-Mart's under construction task. New Character: Apu Welcome to the Kwik-E-Mart's Grand Re-Opening Sale! Every expiration date is 50% off, and all nutritional information has been removed for your ignorance! Outta my way! It's snack time.
