Playmates Toys is an American toy manufacturer. They produced the World of Springfield series of The Simpsons action figures from 1999 till 2004.

A set made for Toys 'Я' Us includes nine characters: Homer Simpson, Marge Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Bart Simpson, Grampa Simpson, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Charles Montgomery Burns, Waylon Smithers, Jr. and Carl Carlson. The set was also made for other stores in three parts of three, one with Homer, Lisa, and Marge; one with Mr. Burns, Carl, and Waylon; and one Bart, Apu, and Grampa.
