Springfield Anthem is a song sung by the Springfieldians that was heard during the ending credits of The Simpsons Movie. An animatic version of the song is featured in The Complete Tenth Season DVD Boxset.

Behind the Laughter
It was originally to be in the actual movie some point during when the bomb was counting down. The music is the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, composed by Claude Joseph Rouget de Lisle. The parody lyrics were written by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, Al Jean, Ian Maxtone-Graham, George Meyer, David Mirkin, Mike Reiss, Mike Scully, Matt Selman, John Swartzwelder and Jon Vitti.
