Shakespeare in the Park is a concept used across the world, as a form of free public presentation of William Shakespeare's works.

History

Lisa and Marge went to one in Delacorte Theater, New York City when they blew their budget. It was cancelled when the Baldwin brothers and Sheen-Estevez clan got into an argument. Lisa wanted everyone to watch the play so she made her own.[1]

One was held in Springfield, with Sideshow Mel acting in it.[2]

Reception

According to the New York Post, it received negative reviews, although they liked Lisa.[1]
