"Take My Life, Please" is an episode in the twentieth season of The Simpsons. It is the first episode broadcast in HD and has a new opening.
Synopsis
A man named Vance Connor is inducted into the Springfield Wall of Fame and Homer recounts how he ran against Vance for class president in high school and lost. At Moe's that night, Lenny and Carl confess to Homer that Principal Dondelinger ordered them to bury the ballot box. After finding the box, Lisa recounts the votes to find that Homer won. Outraged, Homer finds his old principal who explained that he had to hide the ballot box due to Vance wanting to trick Homer by getting everyone to vote for him.
At Luigi's Restaurant, the Simpsons are having dinner where a miserable Homer doesn't want to eat. Luigi introduces them to a cook who can tell peoples fate by stirring tomato sauce in a certain way. By using this magical sauce he sees what his life would have been like.After seeing everyone would have liked him, would have got a job a sector 6F of the Power Plant and been very rich and have no kids, Homer gets very depressed. The family take him on a walk to Springfield Wall of fame where his name is put. A happy Homer decides to take the family to a Korean restaurant where the beef determines your date of death.
