Rio de Janeiro is the second biggest city in Brazil. Points of interest include Cristo Redentor and the Copacabana neighborhood.

History

The Simpson family have visited the city twice:

  • When they were searching for the orphan Ronaldo that Lisa sponsored, who was missing.[1]
  • When Homer was refereeing the World Cup soccer matches, one of the games was in Rio.[2]
