David Sacks is a former supervising producer and writer. He wrote the episode "Fear of Flying". His other credits include 3rd Rock From the Sun, Malcolm in the Middle, The Tick and Murphy Brown.

Sacks attended Harvard University, graduating with a degree. While he was there he began his comedy writing career as an editor of The Harvard Lampoon.

After graduating, David moved to Los Angeles and began writing for television.
