The Space Marshmallow, also known as The Blob, is an intergalactic alien that came to Springfield in a meteor.
While Homer and Marge were making out in the back yard, a meteor fell from the sky, through Marge's hair, and landed in the yard. As the Simpsons looked at the meteor, it hatched, revealing the Space Marshmallow inside. Homer picked up the Space Marshmallow with a stick and decided to eat it. After a short struggle to get the Space Marshmallow to stay down, he finally succeeded. That night, while he was trying to sleep, Homer's stomach started making noises.
