After all, those greenhorn Greenpeace-niks need some form of clean energy transportation to promote their anti-greenhouse gas activities that runs, of course, on electricity provided by the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant! Plot[edit]

Mr. Burns tells Lisa that he wants to invest in her idea to build electric cars, because he believes he will make more money when the cars use his power. Lisa is happy that Burns finally wants to help the environment. Homer visits Moe's, where trivia night has started, but then everyone laughs at when he doesn't know the answers, so he asks Lisa to help him become more intelligent. Mr. Burns builds his new car, the Burnsmobile. The residents of Springfield are unsure about buying a new car, but Lisa tells them about its benefits and they start to buy it. The Rich Texan asks Mr. Burns to sell his car business to him for five billion dollars, but he does not accept it. Homer tries to come up with ideas for how to be smarter when Lisa does not want to help him. He discovers that soda bottles have trivia on the cap, and starts reading them to become smarter. The Rich Texan visits the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and destroys Homer's control panel so that the entire city is without power and no one can use Burns' cars. The Rich Texan challenges Burns to a car duel: the winner gets to take care of the car business in Springfield. Homer continues to buy soda and read the bottlecaps while Burns gets help from Professor Frink to win the duel. Homer visits Moe's for the next trivia night but discovers that Moe cancelled it because smart people don't drink. Homer becomes worried because he can't forget what he learned, but Moe tells him to drink because it makes him forget. During the car duel, Burns has turned his car into a Transformer, which The Rich Texan has also done. The two of them begin to fight, and Lisa tries to stop them but fails. Homer then arrives to watch the duel, and he prevents Burns from controlling his robot. Lisa and Homer work together to stop the robots from fighting. All the cars are destroyed simultaneously, and Springfield's residents start cycling until new cars come in, which pleases Lisa.
