Worst Christmas Ever! is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #52.
Plot[edit]
A series of Itchy & Scratchy figures are the most popular toys in the lead up to Christmas. By Christmas Eve, the only place in Springfield that isn't sold out is the Android's Dungeon, where they are highly overpriced. Marge refuses to buy them and discusses her concerns with Homer. Moe persuades Homer to try and get a deal from Comic Book Guy, but Comic Book Guy refuses to lower his prices. All of the stores in other towns are also overpriced, however Homer and Bart encounter a truck crashed in the middle of the road filled with the Itchy & Scratchy toys. They steal the toys and Lisa persuades them to give them away to the parents in Springfield. Comic Book Guy protests but Homer mocks him.
That evening, Fat Tony arrives at the Simpsons' house and demands $20,000. He reveals that he was the one in charge of the toy distribution and he wants remuneration for the toys that Homer stole. When Homer refuses, the family is tied to the Christmas tree. Before Tony can kill them, Comic Book Guy arrives dressed as Santa and hands over an incredibly rare baseball card in exchange for the family's freedom. Comic Book Guy reveals that he only saved them because he didn't want word getting out that he had been working with the Mafia.
