Crisis of Discontinuous Continuities! is a Simpsons Super Spectacular comic story first printed in Simpsons Super Spectacular #16.

Synopsis[edit]

"Plasmo taps into a neighboring dimension to find a replacement for a fallen Superior Squadron comrade, causing a calamitous chain reaction and a world overpopulated with duplicate heroes and villains."

Plot[edit]

The Superior Squad save Zenith City from a monster from Genral Motor, which unfortunately kills Bug Boy. The gang is gathered in their secret HQ in Mando Building, where Plasmo tells them that they can get a new one from another dimension, and he picks up Bug Boy from reality eighteen. Bug Boy from reality eighteen sees his enemy Captain Squid because he is a villain in his dimension and kills him. Plasmo retrieves Captain Squid from reality twenty-two. Radioactive Man is suspicious of his new friends from other dimensions. The new team will continue to fight against villains like Samaroo, the Scoutmaster, Bowlarama and Dr. Crab, but in one of the fights Braveheart dies and Plasmo picks up a new one from another dimension. The death continues to affect The Superior Squad and Plasmo gets one replacement after another. At the annual picnic an unusually large number of members from various dimensions of Superior Squad has accumulated, because he created an imbalance between good and evil and there is only only one safe universe left. Plasmo from another dimmension comes and tells him he has doomed everyone and that all the realities' villains have banded together and conquered one world after another, and the heroes from every other dimension have no choice but to flee to this one, and there are too many superheroes here now and it won't take long for all the enemies to find them and start attacking the last dimension. The other Plasmo is right—shortly after his speech the villains travel to the last dimension where the superheroes are outnumbered by the villains. Plasmo flees to a new dimension: Archie Comics, leaving the superheroes to their fate.
