Hi fellow Simpsons fans. I'm Aaron D'Errico, an indie writer and artist lucky to have been given writing lessons from Simpsons guest star, Marvel Comics icon, Stan Lee and art lessons from Luis Escobar, veteran storyboard artist for The Simpsons.
As a lifelong Simpsons fan I'm interested to learn more about the inside jokes, characters and town of Springfield, including the origin of D'Errico's Market in downtown Springfield, across the street from the statue of Springfield town founder, Jebediah Springfield and Comic Book Guy and Kumiko's shop, The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop.
Trivia:
It meant a lot to see D'Errico's Market in downtown Springfield, next to Comic book Guy's Shop where Stan Lee guest starred in I Am Furious (Yellow) and Married to the Blob. Then, later in, "I'm Just A Girl Who Can't Say D'oh", D'Errico's Market and Stan Lee's picture appear in the same episode. (Geek Glee!) :D
My comics mentor, Paul Chadwick collaborated on comics with Simpsons guest star, Harlan Ellison.
