The Aphrodite Inn is perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Springfield. It boasts fifty-seven individually-themed rooms.[1]

History
Gunter and Ernst are frequent lodgers at the Aphrodite Inn.[1] So, apparently, is Mayor Quimby, and the Caveman Room appears to be one of his favorites.[2]
When Selma married Troy McClure, they honeymooned at the Aphrodite Inn, with the occasion being commemorated by a notice on the hotel's marquee sign.[3] Other celebrity guests who have stayed at the hotel include Cher<ref name="AFCS"> and Krusty the Clown[1], along with their contest winners, according to the marquee.
Homer and Marge stayed at the Aphrodite Inn for a night (at the same time as one of Quimby's visits), hoping that a romantic night out would inject some spice into their marriage. The idea fizzled, however, when the only room available was the hotel's utility room, in spite of Homer's best efforts to create a romantic fantasy out of the situation.[2]
