Big Bird is a fictional giant sized bird.

History

When Homer tried to dodge paying his PBS pledge, Big Bird was part of the mob of PBS characters chasing after him. Big Bird flew down, squawking angrily like a real bird, and joined the chase.[1]

Chief Wiggum wore a sweater he knitted that depicted Big Bird pushing Elmo into a saw.[2]

Moe watched a DVD in the Hibbert family's car, which showed Big Bird in China.[3]

In a hockey game that Homer watched on TV, actors costumed as Big Bird, Elmo and Count von Count were seen waiting for the rink to clear so they could perform Sesame Street on Ice.[4]
