No Cause For Alarm is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #163.
Plot

It's evening, Marge says that more homes have been robbed in the area but Homer reassures to her that the dog protects the family. While jumps Snake through a window, and Santa's Little Helper does not care. Maggie discovers what is happening and putting away her crib down for the stairs so it starts to sound really and Snake disappears. Homer is happy that the dog stopped the thief but Marge asks Homer get an alarm when she thinks it's safer. After a visit to Señor Ding-Dong tells Homer that they can get an alarm for free. At night, Homer sneaks into the Ned and steal his alarm, but gets arrested because it's silent alarm. Ned then tells to the police then at Homer only tested the alarm.
The next day have Homer a new alarm system on the plant, he sees that the old is discarded so he takes it home and install with the help of Ned. Ned says that there is no siren so the alarm can not working to then. He steals the plant's speakers, which is connected to the alarm. Meanwhile, Homer is on his way home with the speaker ends up the power plant in the risk of meltdown again. Homer has installed the alarm at home now and it's time for trying it. He recognizes the signal and believe that it is the power plant, it's a meltdown so he travell back to the work, even though Marge says it's the alarm is from their home and not from the power plant. Homer stops the meltdown, but the alarm is still sounding so he realizes that he is robbed at home so he goes home to stop the thief. Since it is the same signal as the plant uses believe all in Springfield it's meltdown and ends up in a panic, Kent wants to go home but are forced to stay in the air, Hans has sex with Selma, Moe and Apu is full of people again. Springfields people realize after awhile that the alarm comes from Homer's home and there is no meltdown and starts chasing him. Homer turns off the alarm and plans to bring back the alarm, while Bart switches on the alarm so it will begin to sound again, which makes Homer mad and destroy the alarm. Kent and Moe comes over and asks Homer doing the same thing in a month or two and can pay him. Homer then tries to fix the alarm.
