The Springfield Meltdowns were a football team designed by Homer Simpson.
History
His team won in being selected in a contest instead of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, before the commissioner could open the team, he got lost, and was attacked by Abraham Simpson. When the other Simpsons arrived home, they found Abe with a golf club standing over the unconscious Commissioner. When he regained consciousness, he told Homer that Springfield would never have a NFL team.
Home Stadium
The Meltdown's home stadium was the Duff Beer Krusty Burger Buzz Cola Costington's Department Store Kwik-E-Mart Stupid Flanders Park. It was later used for bull fighting after the team was canceled.
