When Moe told Homer and Bart that if it moves, you can bet on it, Bart asked him about the Detroit Lions. Moe told him to lay off Detroit as the people there are living in Mad Max times.[1]
Bart sent a letter to the Detroit Lions, among other people, telling them that he would trade nuclear secrets for a mini bike.[2]
