"Marge is not too thrilled with Bart's fixation on his new violent video game "Skateboard Renegade"."

Plot[edit]

Marge is watching Kent Brockman give a report about violent video games, and she starts to think about Bart's gaming. She sees Bart playing Skateboard Renegade IV, and when she sees him knock out the police with a skateboard, she becomes worried and she and Homer punish him by banning video games. Bart goes to Noiseland but they have turned it into a Spa & Relax-arium. Bart then remembers that Milhouse has old video games, but when he visits him, he finds out that Luann only lets him play Krusty's Rental Properties Management Game. Bart gets tired of it and goes to see the bullies, who play Whack-a-Nerd, but they do not play the video game and they don't think Bart should do it either, because of the nice weather. Kearney and Jimbo recall that Dolph is home because it is the Sabbath and he has a video game so Bart goes to see him, but his game is educational so he runs away. He goes home, where Homer is choking on a pistachio shell and Bart beats him with a skateboard like in the video game. Homer is convinced that the video game is good for him because he learned something, and he lets him play the game again, much to Marge's disappointment.
