"Get bent!" is one of Bart Simpson's catchphrases.

History[edit]

Principal Skinner disappeared and was presumed dead, and Fat Tony tried to set Bart up to take the blame for Skinner's apparent murder. Eventually, Skinner was revealed to be alive and the accusations against Bart were withdrawn. When Fat Tony asked Bart if there were any hard feelings, Bart told Fat Tony to get bent.[1]

Marge took Bart clothes shopping, and when he was trying some things on, there was a sign in the fitting room reading "This room monitored at all times". When Bart spotted the camera, he made a sign reading "GET BENT" and held it up to the camera.[2]

Bart once developed his own line of novelty T-shirts with sayings on them and for a brief time sold them out of a stand in his front yard. One of the sayings was "Get Bent". Ned Flanders thought the saying referred to kneeling down to pray, so he bought one of the "Get Bent" shirts and told everybody in line to get bent.[3]
