The Simpsons: Tapped Out Love, Springfieldian Style, the Valentine's Day 2019 event, is the one hundred and eighty-first content update, and was released on January 23rd, 2019. It is based on the season 19 episode "Love, Springfieldian Style".
Town Portrait

A new feauture is introduced in this event. Once enabled, it allows player to save a panoramic view of the entire town on their device.
1. The feauture takes images of the players land.
2. It stitches the images together to create the full picture.
3. It shows the player a preview of the final image, the file size, and an option to save to their device.
4. The complete image is saved to their device.
Players will receive a system message notifying them that they can access Town Portrait via a new button in Placement Mode (in bottom-right corner, via the icon that looks like an old camera).

Plot
Lisa Live
Marge is dropping Bart off at the Valentine Dance early to serve his detention sentence. Lisa is going with them, so Marge doesn't have to make two trips. Snake is also dropping off Jeremy for detention and notices all the Valentine's-themed décor. This sets Snake off and he holds the entire bag of Valentine's Cards hostage with child-safe scissors. To defuse the situation, Lisa tries to tell a story filled with love – a love for education.
Lisa tells the tale of an average girl who is struggling at school. She starts to livestream and talk about her difficulties at school. The videos are helping, but kids think her show is all about drama. Some kids are learning from it, and the school board doesn't like that. They ask her to stop doing the videos, but an inspirational teacher encourages her to forge ahead. He helps her negotiate with the school and share ad revenue, so she can keep doing her show. The show goes on, and she excels at her studies. But sadly, it's time for her inspirational substitute teacher to leave. He inspires her to continue learning in weird ways before he leaves.

Bart to Another Future
| Willie thinks he has a better story to tell – about two groundskeepers working at the same school. The school needs to fire one of them, so it hosts a competition to determine who to keep. Wilma and Willie are tied in the competition all the way through, until it really ends in a tie. Wilma suggests they drink poison to determine the winner. It kills neither of them, and Skinner offers to keep them both at half pay. The thought of a pay cut makes them both quit.

| Snake is even more confused by Willie's story then he is bored. He decides it is time to start destroying some Valentine's Cards. The first one he goes for has Bart's name written on it. Bart doesn't want a card meant for him to be destroyed, so he offers to tell a more exciting story.Bart tells the story of time-traveling cop who is trying to protect the timeline from a fugitive at large. He chases the fugitive through the future and the past, finding out that the fugitive has kidnapped George Washington. After further investigations, he finds out the fugitive got plastic surgery to become George Washington! Bart travels back to Colonial America to stop the crook. Right when he is about to make the arrest, Time FBI Jenda steps in to takeover for him. She was an undercover detective the entire time.

All Dogs Go to Jail
Snake likes Bart story, especially because it deals with a surprise betrayal at the end. He can relate to something like that. Lisa realizes this might be his cry for help, so she asks Snake to tell a story about his feelings but through someone else's perspective. Snake agrees and tells a story about dogs in love. Snake, a stray dog, is offered some food to eat by Gloria. Snake takes advantage of this and gives a bunch of food away to his other stray dog pals. The humans come after Snake, but the dog catcher captures Gloria instead in a mix-up. Snake stages a breakout to get Gloria out of the pound. Things go south quickly, but Gloria is released after she is identified as a dog with an owner. Snake is about to celebrate with Gloria, but Skinner dog shows up and Gloria runs off with him.
Snake, clearly the mutt in the last story, is heartbroken that Gloria left him. That's why he doesn't like Valentine's Day. Skinner explains that Gloria is just taking night classes, so this is all one big miscommunication. The situation settles down, and then the cops show up to arrest Snake. As Snake is being taken away, it turns out Gloria and Skinner really were dating. And the Valentine Card for Bart was from Sherri & Terri. Bart is ready to abandon this “party”. Everyone agrees to cancel the Valentine's Dance as they eat all the food and read each other's Valentine's Cards.
