Cultural references[edit]
- Principal Skinner gives Otto a mixtape of Kenny Loggins' movie soundtrack hits as overtime pay. Otto says that the gas pedal gets a little heavier every time he hears "Danger Zone" on his Walkman.
- Otto tells Bart that his snow days are a distant memory, like Meg Ryan's career or last year's American Idol.
- Otto sings "Well, the weather out here is frightful, but my wheels are so delightful..." a parody of the song "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn.
Goofs[edit]
- Bart says "Eating the candy sale candy before you sel it," missing out the second "l" in "sell".
