The Springfield Skate Tour is an annual skating event where residents of Springfield compete for a prize of $99. During the events of The Simpsons Skateboarding, the competitors included Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa Simpson, Professor Frink, Krusty the Clown, Otto Mann, Nelson Muntz and Chief Wiggum. The event that year was sponsored by Duff Beer, Krusty Burger and Henrich's Monacle Shop, and was endorsed by pro skater Maurice Minor.

Trivia[edit]

  • In The Simpsons Road Rage, released a year before The Simpsons Skateboarding, several billboards advertise a skateboarding championship for Springfield residents, likely referring to the Skate Tour, while also serving as a real-life preview for the game itself.
