Shopping for School Supplies the Bart Simpson Way! is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #31.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Bart reveals which tools are useful in school."
At the Kwik-E-Mart, Bart is shopping for supplies whilst talking to the reader. Apu wonder who Bart is talking to. At school, the first school supply Bart shows off is a big binder, which he uses to house all his tools for pranks. Bart then shows off the collapsible ruler, which he has tied a fake spider to. He tries to use this to prank Lisa, who has seen the prank a thousand times. Bart then reveals that he put the spider in his mouth, which disgusts Lisa and scares off Sherri and Terri. Bart's next tool is a nerd-chucker, which he made from gluing two protractors together. Bart then throws the nerd-chucker at Cosine, who says that he thought angles were his friend. Finally, Bart's last supply is paperclips. Bart hooks enough of them together to make a chain so he can escape from the school window using it as Principal Skinner yells after him.
