Game On! is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #230.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Bart and Milhouse get ready to battle man, beast, and long lines on the eve of a brand-new video game release."
Plot[edit]
Homer is followed by Bart and Milhouse, who are queuing outside Whalemart because the new video game Blood Ops 5 will be released soon. Bart makes Homer take a break at Moe's. Bart and Milhouse plan to eat some snacks while they wait for the release, but discover that they have already eaten them all. Time passes and they become hungry. Bart calls Homer to ask him to pick up some snacks, but Homer does not hear Bart calling him. Bart tries to get Milhouse to go to the Kwik-E-Mart, but he does not do it so they must hold out. Bart and Milhouse are visited by Dolph, Jimbo, Nelson and Kearney, who steal their places. They are not going back in the queue, so they try to sneak in but get discovered by the squeaky-voiced teen, who lets it pass if Bart promises to stay away for a month. Homer has come back and finds that Bart and Milhouse have left the queue. Bart tells him that they are going home after he picks up the game. Bart goes to the shelf and grabs the last copy of the game at the same time as Milhouse. The two of them argue over who will get the game, but Homer stops them and intends to give it to the person who makes the easiest way home.
