Forum:Merge couch gag pages into gag tabs
Now that we have gags tabs on episodes, it makes sense to move the couch gag pages to them, unless in special circumstances, i.e. the couch gag is used multiple times in the show. I just think that the amount of couch gag pages we're getting now is a bit stupid. Thoughts? Solar Dragon (Talk • Contribs.) 15:28, November 12, 2013 (EST)

- Yeah, especially too now that extra long couch gags are practically an every episode occurrence. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 21:12, November 12, 2013 (EST)

- I think we should have articles for special couch gag like MusicVille Couch Gag. It looks better with a "References/Trivia" and "Appearances" tab for that information./AleWi (talk) 14:36, November 22, 2013 (EST)
- But then we have to define "special". We could have the references in the episode's reference tab and the appearances in the gags tab, like other couch gag sections. The Solar Dragon 15:10, November 22, 2013 (EST)
- I think no couch gag should have its own page. We've put "References/Trivia" and "Appearances" sections under the couch gag sections on gag pages before. -- Webkinz ManiaTalkContributionsEditcount 21:37, November 25, 2013 (EST)

- Makes sense ... that is, a couch gag only gets its own article if it's used in more than one episode; otherwise, it goes on the Gags tab of the episode in which it appears. We do still need to figure out what else, if anything, might constitute a special circumstance ... ? -- Mythigator (talk) 02:01, November 26, 2013 (EST)
Special circumstances?[edit]
Okay, I think that should only really be one special circumstance, the Guillermo del Toro couch gag. That was a whole opening sequence packed with characters and references so it should get its own article. Other than that, all other couch gags can go into the Gags tabs.
