Featured quotes are quotes that are considered funny and chosen by the community. You can nominate any quote you want from The Simpsons.
Rules
- You can only nominate once a month.
- The quote must be properly sourced and with who said it.
How to nominate
Do your quote like this:

If it is more than one line, do it like this:

If it is between two or more people, do it like this:

The episodes don't need square brackets.

- It doesn't seem as good when written out, but the joke was that Lisa asked if it was safe using a flame, and the hairdresser said he was well protected, but didn't say anything about Lisa's safety. |

- As far as making the scene easier to picture, I think you could change "flame" to "blow torch" (or something similar), and perhaps add something along the lines of "[Hairdressor pulls a welding mask over his face]" at the end. Just my two cents. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 01:11, 5 May 2012 (EDT)

- To expand a bit on my "oppose" statement: The more explanatory narrative you need to include for the quote to make sense, the worse its prospects are for being a featured quote. This one would be perfect to include on the episode's Quotes tab, but it doesn't stand on its own well enough to be a featured quote. -- Mythigator 11:31, 6 June 2012 (EDT)
