Hey Loco, I just contributed images from ''The Simpsons Guy''. However, on the licensing is there a way to put that it is from a crossover instead of an episode or the movie or not? Or should it just be the normal episode or movie screenshot license? Let me know, thank you [[User:EMarin121|EMarin121]] ([[User talk:EMarin121|talk]]) 24:19, October 20, 2014 (EDT)

:As we treat "The Simpsons Guy" like a "Special Episode" (because it is a ''Family Guy'' episode) you just have to put this:

Affiliates

How did you manage to delete Wikisimpsons:Affiliates in among all the other files you deleted? The Solar Dragon 17:42, September 18, 2014 (EDT)

Ha! I now have justification for all my bot screw-ups! (Nah JK.) | SimpsonsFR.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFD.pngSimpsonsFO.pngSimpsonsFM.pngSimpsonsFN.pngSimpsonsFO.png | Talk | Contributions | Edit count | 17:43, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
Your bot mistakes weren't just simple mistakes though. I'm just curious as to how the page ended up in a list of files that was deleted. The Solar Dragon 17:46, September 18, 2014 (EDT)
I really don't know how. I deleted the files on the Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. I'm really astonished. When I was Deleting the Files (with AWB) I didn't see any page on the list of pages with the prefix Wikisimpsons:, they were all files. But Now I've seen in the page logs section of the Control Panel (on AWB) that I did delete it. But I seriously don't remember that. I think I'm not gonna use AWB for page deleting (again). By the way, Solar could you actually use your Bot for deleting the Orphaned Talk Pages? / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 10:52, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
Yes, I will do. I would also suggest using your bot to delete files too. I can give it admin privileges. The Solar Dragon 12:12, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
That would be great. And it will also be great if you could tell me how to do mass deletions with AWB. (I haven't used that program before. I started using it about two weeks ago.) Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Loco87 (talkcontribs) 16:18, September 19, 2014
Actually, you can't do that with AWB... I use Pywikipediabot for mass deletions. It's a completely different software that uses Command Prompt. It's more complicated to use as a result. The Solar Dragon 17:01, September 19, 2014 (EDT)
Well, doesn't matter; I'll make the deletions one-by-one as fast as I can. And they won't flood recent changes. Thanks! / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 17:08, September 19, 2014 (EDT)

Tapped Out costumes image

Hey, are you able to update File:Costumes.png with all the new costumes please? Thanks, The Solar Dragon 09:27, September 21, 2014 (EDT)

Yes, I am. But it will take me some time! / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 13:04, September 21, 2014 (EDT)

HD images without watermarks

I'm not particularly interested in the HD episodes (only up to 1997 & 1998-2000 episodes are mediocre), but I'm curious on do how you capture the HD episode images without their watermarks, in spite of them not having an official release outside of TV? By the way, the sitenotice is out of date (Season 26 started yesterday). Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 13:44, September 29, 2014 (EDT)

I downloaded the episode about four minutes after it had ended on Fox(I also watched it by streaming). I downloaded it using a program called "Torrent"(but there are some episodes that I download by Direct Download) and then I use a video player called "VLC Video Player" which allows you to make screenshots of the video you are watching. And I think that even they haven't had a DVD or Blu-Ray release, there are some other ways in which the episodes are officially released like Hulu.com, iTunes, ... Hope that satisfied your curiosity / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 14:01, September 29, 2014 (EDT)
Don't you hate it when people on YouTube say: "All rights go to FOX" when they upload a scarce commercial or such, but then it gets deleted? YouTube sucks (which I why I archive these things). Anyway, I use VLC media player too. You did satisfy my mind, thanks. I hope I'm a help to this wiki. (and I also stream, and I always buy the legit thing in the end.)Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 14:15, September 29, 2014 (EDT)

Licenses from crossovers

Hey Loco, I just contributed images from The Simpsons Guy. However, on the licensing is there a way to put that it is from a crossover instead of an episode or the movie or not? Or should it just be the normal episode or movie screenshot license? Let me know, thank you EMarin121 (talk) 24:19, October 20, 2014 (EDT)

As we treat "The Simpsons Guy" like a "Special Episode" (because it is a Family Guy episode) you just have to put this:
== Licensing ==
{{Image Fox|The Simpsons Guy|special=yes}}

Hope that helped. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 13:01, October 20, 2014 (EDT)
