The Red Dress Press was a paper created by Lisa Simpson.

History[edit]

The paper was originally conceived as a place to publish her poem dedicated to Geezer Rock. After Bart Simpson started selling subscriptions and most of the readers wanted more issues, they started the newspaper seriously. Lisa hired Nelson Muntz, Ralph Wiggum, Milhouse Van Houten, Richard, Rod Flanders, Janey Powell, Lewis, Bart Simpson and Martin Prince to join the journal.

After Lisa Simpson published a adverse article about Mr. Burns he tried to buy the paper by Lisa by offering Honeysuckle, Dewdrop and Sugarbell but she rejected the offer. After that he tried to get her to give up the paper by ordering his minions to destroy the delivery. Ralph left the paper to begin working for the Chicago Tribune.

That meant the members of the paper dared not continue to work, leaving only Lisa and Bart. After that Mr. Burns cut off their electricity so that they could not produce the paper, but they then started using a Mimeograph at Springfield Elementary instead. Mr. Burns then got Springfield Shopper to write an article claiming that Lisa is "wacko" and later the she loved Milhouse. This led to Lisa shutting down the paper.
