"The Old Man and the Key" is the thirteenth episode of the Simpsons' thirteenth season.

Plot

The episode begins with Homer waiting to watch the new season of XFL. Marge solemnly informs Homer that the XFL has been cancelled when the phone rings. Marge answers and it is a prerecorded message from the old folks home saying that Abraham Simpson is dead.

The family goes to the home and discovers that grandpa is in fact not dead and the home had made a mistake. Later on, a woman named Zelda moves into the home, introducing herself as the woman who "puts the ass in assisted living". Grandpa is instantly smitten and realises the only way to woo her is to regain his driving license.
