Mel Gibson is an American actor and producer.

Mel Gibson starred in a remake of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, which had a test screening at the Aztec Theater in Springfield. Mel flew out to Springfield to see how the audience reacted to it. Mel had reservations about the film and wasn't satisfied with it. However, most of the people who watched the film loved it, except Homer Simpson. As Mel and the movie executives were flying back to Hollywood, Mel read through the feedback cards until he found one that didn't like the film.
