Trivia

  • Lisa's birthday was revealed in this episode. However it is not exact: The Olympics was on it's last day when Lisa was born. Therefore, it would be around 24th August 1983.
  • Bart's first words were also revealed in this episode: "Ay Carumba!", which he said after seeing his parents having sex.
  • When Bart is packing his toys up he is saying something, but it's not audible.

Goofs

  • When Krusty's manager finds out that the Soviet Union have boycotted the Olympics, he gives Krusty a note telling him the bad news. Krusty asks him how this will affect the competition, which means he must have read the card. However, in the episode "Krusty Gets Busted", Krusty says he is (and always has been) illiterate.
  • Sideshow Bob is in this episode, but he has turquoise coloured hair (he could have dyed it, but it's unlikely).
