The Key to the City is an ornamental key, is presented to esteemed visitors, residents, or others whom the city wishes to honour.

History

When Homer was Mr. Plow, he was given the key to the city. It was later given to Plow King.[1]

After Bart had save Gil from die was he giving the key to the city. Bart throwed the key away after the ceremony where had to lower his pants for the picture.[2]

Homer was giving the key to the City after creating "Homer Mountain".[3]

Bartman was giving the key.[4]
