Movie Information
Genre: Family comedy

Home Alone is an American family comedy film.

History

Abraham Simpson,[1] Moe Szyslak,[2] and Macaulay Culkin[3] have all done the famous hands-on-cheeks pose from the film poster.

Homer told the kids that if a burglar comes when he's away, it will be a humorous and entertaining situation, citing the film as reference.[4]

Lyle McCarthy called Homer "Home Alone" as one of his "Home"-based nicknames for him.[5]

Behind the Laughter

  • The title of Home Alone was referenced in the season 3 episode "Homer Alone".
  • The scene in "The Strong Arms of the Ma" Where Marge shouts "I'm not afraid" as she goes outside for the first time is very similar to the scene in Home Alone where Kevin goes outside after being scared shouting "I'm not afraid anymore!".[6]
